It’s still chilly out there right now, but the warmer summer weather is just around the corner. If you’re reluctant to bring your arms out of hiding, when the sun eventually shows its face, don’t worry – we’ve got the moves you need to start building that summer body, right now!
The most common mistake made in Operation Banish Bingo Wings is favouring the back of the arms. While the tricep area is important, the secret to a truly shapely pair of arms is to work your chest, shoulders and both biceps and triceps evenly.
We’ve cherry-picked four moves to do just that and, by creating a small circuit using all of them, you’ll be ready to reveal awesome arms in no time. Just make sure you team this workout with healthy food choices and high-intensity cardio – you’ll need to rev up that fat burn for slim and sexy arms.
Add these four moves to your existing workouts, twice a week, taking 30 seconds’ rest between each set. Go for a weight that challenges you – but make sure you can perform each rep with good form. Your arms should be tired by the end, and you should feel as though you couldn’t do another set with the same weight.
Beginner: 2 x 8 reps each move
Intermediate: 3 x 10 reps each move
Advanced: 4 x 10 reps each move
