Must-do bottom toning move
This bum exercise is great if you want sexy curves and a strong core.
Benefits: The instability of the gym ball means you'll have to activate your core muscles, while raising your legs off the floor strengthens your glutes and hamstrings and lower back.
- Start with your stomach resting on the gym ball and place your hands flat on the floor with your toes resting on the floor behind you (a).
- Engage your glutes, then lift both legs until your thighs are in line with your body (b). Pause, then slowly lower your feet back to the floor.
Top tip! Before working out, start each session with a set of hip raises to switch on your glutes.
